About us:

The Book Club is continuing to flourish and the present situation has given members the opportunity to catch up on all their reading,
As a Group, we have reviewed quite a few books this year including Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman which we all really enjoyed and Normal People by Sally Rooney, an excellent book which was recently shown on television. The last book we read was Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte which we all agreed was thoroughly depressing.
This only goes to show that what some people find an excellent read, leave others disappointed but come and have your say and extend your reading genre.
Our next book of the month is The Night Hawks by Ellie Griffiths.  This is about a group of metal detectorists searching for buried treasure and, of course, find much more than they bargain for. The book is available on Amazon for £2.99
The fee is £2.00 when attending.
